About me
A wee Scottish Game Designer,
Team player
I pride myself on my approachable nature and teamwork. For me, game development is a team effort. I excel as part of a cross-disciplinary team where I have focused on creating tailored documentation and content design.
Accessibility
Making my work accessible to all is critical. Not just to players but to fellow team members. To this end, I have researched different approaches to documentation, from traditional GDD to more visual methods. I remain open and ready to adjust my approach to the needs of my team members.
Versatility
While I adore working in a team, it is not always possible; thanks to my academic background, I can self-directed my research and workload. Backing up my applied design skills is experience with scripting, production management and even a little bit of 3D sculpting and texturing.
Current work
Having finished my undergraduate studies and begun the job hunt, I’ve made sure to work on this portfolio and practice my skills as an applied designer. I’m currently making some improvements and adding polish to Hack Mech, my top-down shooter.
